A startup Piesotto has obtained funding from, among others, Paweł Fornalski, a co-founder of IAI (the IdoSell platform for creating e-stores), while in the beginning Krystian Stypuła – a co-founder of Home.pl and the Pomerangels fund – put his trust in the company. In this transaction we represented Piesotto, handling two rounds of the process.

Piesotto was founded by Karol Chmielewski and Bartek Drzewiecki. It is the first company to offer human trade quality in the bowl of our four-legged friends, which is exactly what we ourselves put on our plates. Still, it is worth noting that Piesotto meals are properly balanced, which means that they contain other nutrient rations that differ from the requirements of an adult human. Together with animal nutritionists, the startup has created dog catering cooked in a homemade way, with real ingredients and no added preservatives or enhancers.

The company started to seek investors in early 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic stood in its way. Yet, by October it had already managed to close its first round, Piesotto received then PLN 1.2 million from the Pomerangels fund and four business angels, including Krystian Stypuła, a co-founder of Home.pl.
