Aleksandra Maciejewicz, a patent attorney and a partner at LAWMORE, has become a mentor in the Sektor 3.0 Fund targeted at NGOs developing digital products and services in the field of #TechForGood. Thus, LAWMORE has joined the initiative’s partners in the 2022/2023 edition.

The Sektor 3.0 Fund is a part of the Sektor 3.0 programme of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation implemented by the Information Society Development Foundation, which has been supporting the creation of new socially useful #TechForGood solutions for years. 

As part of the incubation process, the originators will take part in a three-month series of training sessions to polish their idea, create a coherent concept, and launch the product or service on the market. One of the workshops will be devoted to the topic of intellectual property, which is exactly the area of expertise of Aleksandra Maciejewicz. Particularly important aspects of her speech involve the issues connected with the protection of industrial property rights and the copyright law – key elements for creators of unique technological solutions. The Sektor 3.0 Fund is addressed to any organisation that has an idea for a new technology in the spirit of #TechForGood but does not know where to start implementing it or has no funds for this. The best teams participating in the Fund can obtain the funding of up to PLN 100,000 for further development of their projects and support from mentors.
