LAWMORE an advisor of ADDICTIONS.AI – a co-investment of private investors

We are very pleased to inform you that we’ve had an opportunity to participate in another successful transaction. On our part, we prepared full legal documentation for Addictions.ai.

Our client develops an AI-supported ecosystem for addiction treatment. The project is called “Helping Hand.” Addictions.ai gained nearly PLN 2 million for development and extension of its operations. Having obtained the funding, the company changed its name into DigitalMedical. DigitalMedical’s plans involve preparing, by the end of 2020, a digital therapeutic tool to counteract depression and eating disorders. The company is also going to enter the field of sport psychology. So far, the company’s operations have been focused on supporting the treatment of alcohol addiction, yet, thanks to the gained funding, the platform users will also be able to get help in fighting depression, burnout, neurosis, drug addiction, and even trauma connected with the coronavirus pandemic. These are just some of the available programs. In each field, a platform user will be able to appoint an individual session in electronic form.

The company was supported by, among others, private investors professionally related with the Aternus fund, which holds shares in, to name a few, Docplanner and Booksy. They joined Adam and Valdemar Wałach – also from Aternus – who already participated in the current funding round, and Mariusz Kozłowski, an investor and business angel. Another person to become a shareholder of DigitalMedical was Dariusz Mioduski, the owner and president of Legia Warszawa, who, together with the creators of Helping Hand, plans to explore the field of sport psychology.

Congratulations! We wish you continued success! Thank you for trusting us and allowing us to participate in the transaction.
