LAWMORE as an advisor of Daily in the acquisition by Finnish Wolt

Wolt, a company from Finnland, took over daily.pl, a Polish startup operating in the foodtech industry. We are more than happy to inform you that once again we represented the interests of the daily.pl website.Daily.pl is a Warsaw-based startup offering courier services for the catering industry. It connects clients with specially selected restaurants and enables them to order meals to any location. The company was founded 2 years ago by Nicolas Jedraszak and Małgorzata Sitkowska. Following the acquisition, Nicolas Jedraszak was appointed the General Manager of the company. Daily.pl has already gained capital from 2 investment funds (Zernike Meta Ventures and Alfabeat)—we were honoured to represent the company’s interests in both transactions.Wolt was established in Finland in 2014. Currently, it operates in 30 cities and 11 countries all over Europe—besides Finland in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania and Latvia. It was founded by Miki Kuusi (the originator of a well-known conference for startups and investors, Slush).In Poland Wolt is so far available in 3 cities—Warsaw, Gdańsk and Gdynia.
