We are happy to announce that, in co-operation with Bartek Pucek, we are starting an educational series on the legal aspects of AI. The first newsletter with an article by Aleksandra Maciejewicz – partner and patent attorney at LAWMORE – was issued this Sunday, that is 7 May

In the first article, we brought up the issue of data processing by AI – the purpose and scope of such processing, we also resolved the ‘dispute’ over whether we are able to guarantee – with respect to all AI tools – the exercise of users’ rights under the GDPR, including in particular the so-called ‘right to be forgotten’ and the possibility of exercising the right to object. Furter, we discussed DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) and the appointment of a data protection officer.

Bartek Pucek is CEO of Forward Operators AI Lab and an investor in tech companies. He helps build digital strategies, teams, and products in more than 30 markets worldwide.  His area of expertise covers digital transformation of organisations, product building, data (AI, ML), infosec, and IT.  Previously, he worked at entities such as IKEA, Onet, Ringier Axel Springer, and Grupa Pracuj. He was awarded the title Digital Shapers 2020 as one of the leaders of digital transformation in Poland.
