ExplodedView is a startup based in Kraków, which has closed a pre-seed round of USD 280,000. The investment comes from a Polish-American fund – SMOK Ventures – and a Polish product and software development company – Untitled Kingdom, which made the initial funding in this round. In this process, we represented the creators of the startup.
The company was founded in 2020 on the initiative of Marcin Klimek and Rafał Guzik. Since then, a platform for XR content creators – virtual influencers – has been gradually developed. The platform combines virtual and augmented reality tools to enable the creation of the metaverse. The startup has also its own app, ExplodedView Studio, which allows the creation of videos with user-created avatars as well as non-standard environments.
