LAWMORE an advisor of Talkie.ai – a funding round of PLN 12.5 million

The startup Talkie.ai has gained PLN 12.5 million from a Polish and Austrian consortium of VC funds. This is another round where we had the pleasure to advise the company. The following funds participated in the current funding round: 4growth VC (consortium leader), NIF ASI (co-investment with 4growth VC), Satus Starter, FundingBox, Gateway Ventures (Austrian VC fund), and Movens VC (continuation of an earlier investment). Among the shareholders there is also the LT Capital fund, which invested in the company at an earlier stage of its development.

Talkie.ai offers automated solutions related to customer service, used in particular in the most promising industry – healthcare. The availability of registration to medical services round the clock 7 days a week provides enormous potential for automation by means of Talkie.ai. Furthermore, the startup optimises typical hospital processes, e.g. making and managing appointments, ordering prescriptions, or basic medical history. The platform is also integrated with the biggest call centre system providers on the market.

The startup has created voicebots, which achieve more than 90% accuracy in understanding the caller’s intent just after first 10 data samples. What is more, thanks to the voice cloning technology, they sound more naturally, which has a positive impact on the caller’s experience. An advantage of Talkie.ai over other solutions of this type is also a short implementation time, which ranges from just one day (in the case of the simplest business processes) to several weeks. The bots are configured and operated from the level of the administration panel.

The company was established in 2018, and in mid-2020 it gained its first funding round, thanks to which it was able to validate its product and business strategy, and accelerate its growth At the beginning of 2021, the startup launched its operations in the United States. Currently, Talkie.ai will dedicate new resources to further specialise in creating technologies for the healthcare industry and expand into the United States.
