“We are looking for hockey stick growth among local start-ups. The pool is bigger every year” – it was stated at the EIT Health Investors’ Forum event in Warsaw, which was held on 17 November 2022. The forum was organised by the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw, bringing together leading startups and VC funds and providing a unique opportunity for networking, as well as exchanging ideas among those working in health care on a daily basis.
What is more, we are pleased to announce that one of the speakers on the panel was Aleksandra Maciejewicz – Partner of our Law Firm, who had the pleasure speaking about VBHC (Value Based Healthcare) and the realities of its implementation in Poland, in particular among startups.
Experts discussed new healthcare provision models, reimbursement for certified medical devices, scenarios for sharing healthcare data within the EU, and the implementation of the European Health Data Space (#EDHS). Innovators submitted their ideas and investors gained access to innovative healthcare solutions through the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw with support from EIT Health.
